Salt spray corrosion testing

Samples are tested in a fully automatic C&W SF/200 salt spray cabinet which satisfies all major international salt spray standards (see below), allowing continuous/intermittent, moist (humid/dry) air operations, including the widely used ASTM B117 continuous test. The requirements of the following salt spray corrosion testing standards are satisfied: ASTM B117, ASTM D1735, ASTM B287, ASTM B368, BS 2011 Part 2.1 Ka and Kb, BS3900 Part 12, BS5466 Parts 1-3, BS7479, BS EN ISO 7253, BS EN 60068-2-11. |
Salt spray testing forms part of the resistance to social chemicals as detailed in test methods for identification cards, ISO 10373-1 and machine readable travel documents (MRTDs), ISO/IEC/JTC1/SC17?WG3/TF4. Other applications include corrosion testing of coated metal surfaces.
