World class testing facility
Pira’s key tool is our unique world class Distribution Laboratory for Transit Testing which allows controlled simulation of the physical elements of the supply process, from end of line to point of sale, and beyond to customer/consumer use, including:
- Road, rail and air shipment (vibration) and sea distribution
- Mechanical handling (fork lift, electric pallet trucks, container handling, automated pallet and case handling)
- Courier and parcel delivery
- Manual handling (at brand owner or retailer distribution centre, plus in-store operations (drop and shock impacts)
